Between September 4th and the 23rd there have been 13 officers killed. The vast majority in automobile accidents (both cars and motorcycles).

Here are the latest officer down listings from ODMP.org. Since my last posting we have lost 11 more officers (48 down for the year). Of those 11, 6 died in vehicle accidents, 4 from gunfire and 1 from being struck by a vehicle. May these officers family, friends, coworkers...

This May has been a bad month. So far there have been four officers killed. Since I last posted the names of the fallen there have been 6 officers down. Of those, only two where killed in automobile accidents the rest where shot while performing their duties to the communities...
