I have been doing a ton of playing with making this blog a true ‘mobile’ blog. But a mobile blog means a lot of different things to different people depending on what they use it for. I use it for everything from users on cell phones accessing the site to my posting thoughts, pictures and videos while on the go.
I started with adding a PDA version of the site (as posted here). Then I added the ability to post ANYTHING I wanted from my mobile phone using Postie (as posted here).With the explosion of the iPhone how do you not include them? On Twitter I saw a posting from a user that had a link to iWPhone from Content Robot. Being the Mobile Web Evangelist that I am, I had to get this and install it. So I did.
The install was a breeze. Simply follow the directions on the site and your all set.
I had my Twitter friend Dan check it out on his iPhone. He says it works. I then went and intalled the Firefox User Agent Switcher extension so I could take a look. Not bad. Looks very good. I wish all mobile device browsers would render pages so well.
Now the blog is very Mobile (in my opinion). It has three distinct looks. The regular browser page, the PDA version for Windows Mobile, Cell Phones, Blackberry’s and the iPhone version.
