JEFFERSON COUNTY – Jefferson County sheriff’s deputies arrested a Fort Lupton Police officer on kidnapping charges after an incident that happened Wednesday night.
Investigators say 22-year old Amanda Carter forced her boyfriend to drive to Lookout Mountain, at gunpoint.
Deputies say at one point Carter fired her gun.
